The Y-Spartaquatics
Swim Club is a year-round competitive swim team located in South
Carolina’s upstate. YSSC is a program of the YMCA of
Greater Spartanburg. YSSC competes in both USA Swimming and
YMCA sanctioned meets.
YSSC offers a step by step progression for every child, no
matter the ability or age, in the sport of swimming. There is
over 75 years of combined coaching experience amongst the
Staff that has produced South Carolina State Qualifiers &
Champions, Age Group Sectional Qualifiers & Champions,
Y-National Qualifiers & Champions, Junior National Qualifiers,
& USA Olympic Trial Qualifiers. The YSSC Staff has a love and
enthusiasm for the sport of swimming that is unmatched by any other
club in the Southeast. Long term planning and goal setting are the
greatest tools our staff uses to develop a lifelong love of
swimming.
